On July 15, 2023, Miss DeAnna Reynolds, after 4 years of hard work, was crowned National American Miss Arkansas Preteen. DeAnna is an extraordinary young woman that has made a lasting impact on not only her community but the United States as a whole. DeAnna is the co-founder of the non-profit organization “Clean Start”. This organization ensures people have what they need to present themselves professionally. DeAnna has worked in hospitals, schools, foster home placement centers, and many other locations helping people looking for a “clean start”. This year alone she has helped over 2,000 people by collecting and distributing much-needed hygiene supplies.
Since her crowning, things have just gotten busier for DeAnna. She has had the opportunity to sing the national anthem at a Natural’s baseball game, has met Arkansas’ first female governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, attended Princess of America Nationals and the Miss Wheelchair Arkansas Fundraiser, and collected, organized, and prepared/delivered 25 hygiene kits for 7 Hills Homeless Shelter and numerous other things. Her mom, Karen, stated: “She is just getting started”.
Today, DeAnna, along with her mother, was able to come to City Hall and meet with Tontitown’s first female mayor, Angela Russell. Mayor Russell stated ” Meeting with DeAnna was more of an honor for me. She is a bright, caring young lady that is going to do great things not only in our community but in our nation.” DeAnna, while at City Hall, presented Mayor Russell with a “National American Miss Arkansas Royalty Proclamation” Which states ” We honor, Mayor Angela Russell, as an honorary National American Miss Arkansas queen for her contribution not only to our state but also for inspiring young women across the country”. “DeAnna has more of a goal, than a dream, to be the President of the United States one day, and after meeting with her today, I believe nothing will stand in her way,” says Mayor Russell.
We are excited to follow DeAnna in her journey and look forward to seeing her in the White House one day.
