Beginning on September 9th, 2024, the existing Javello Road will be shut down as part of the ongoing construction of the new 612 Springdale Bypass project. The road will be closed to through traffic approximately one-half mile south of the Brush Creek Road and Javello Road “T” intersection from the north, and closed to through traffic approximately one-half mile north of the Liberty Road and Javello Road “T” intersection from the south.
Construction is expected to take 65 days to complete the new proposed Javello Road, and be ready to open back up to the public with the new Javello Road alignment. The new alignment will cause a dead end on the south side of existing Javello Road, but remains in place for homeowners to still have access to their driveways. Maintenance of traffic plans calls for the detour of Javello Road to use existing roads such as Brush Creek Road and Liberty Road during the shutdown. Please see the map below:
